Its almost a week after the launch of new Google Social Network, Google+ (Google Plus) and its increasing user rate is very high. But Google+ still doesn’t have the functionality for users to bring friends directly from Facebook to Google+ and every user on Google+ would surely want their Facebook friends to use Google+.
Untill now, Google hasn’t been fully launched to all the users freely but you can join if get invites from Google+ users.
But if you are already into Google+, then there is a way to bring your Facebook friends contacts to your Google+ account and give them invites. Facebook Friend Exporter is an extension for Chrome which gives the easiest method of exchanging user contacts from one service to another.
Facebook Friend Exporter Chrome extension adds “Export friends!” button to the Facebook top navigation bar. Install “Facebook Friend Exporter” in Chrome and click the “Export friends!” button to export your friends to Google+. It could take a while to export your friends depending on how many friends you have exported. The app shows the progress of that too.
After the process is complete, your Facebook friends are added to Google Contacts, not directly to Google+. We know that Google+ uses Google contacts for invites and adding friends, so this would be the easiest way to transfer your Facebook friends to Google+. Go to your Google+ Account settings or Google+ Friends Suggestions and select your Google Contacts that are imported from Facebook.
And if you don’t want to use Chrome Extension for importing Facebook Friends to Google+, then you can use another way. You can first export your Facebook contacts as Yahoo Contacts. You can do this using Yahoo Website. Go to Yahoo settings and there is an option to connect your Facebook account with Yahoo account. Then you can bring the Facebook contacts to Yahoo. Then go to Google+ account settings, there is an option to invite friends using Yahoo contacts. Use that option and you’ll be able to send invites to all Facebook Friends using Yahoo into Google+.
UPDATE 1: You can now edit Facebook Friend List similar as Google+ Circles.
