HP WebOS Team Annexed To Google’s Android Players, Web Giant Working On 7 Inch Tablet

By Milan on May 27, 2012 | Leave a response

There’s a lot happening in Google’s factory these days. Google no longer remains just the Web Giant, it has now joined the race to top smartphones. It hasn’t been much long that the Web Giant owned Motorola Mobility for the price worth of $12.5 billion. Now, Google has been the domain for further two more separate but related topics.

As per the report from a very reliable news source  DigiTimes, Google is working with Asus to develop 7″ touchscreen tablet these days. 600,000 shipments of the tablets have been expected in the first run while the numbers may exceed 2 million by the end of the year. The report states, the tablet may release within the coming two months.

Secondly, Google has annexed HP’s WebOS team to their Android team. The HP’s team was the very one to develop the HTML5 framework called Enyo. The reason for the Google’s move is certainly behind importing some intuitive GUI and usability features of former WebOS to their Android.

Well, Google is playing really very smart. They have smart developers, their own smartphone factory, top internet browser, successful social networking site, more and more and more. Is there anything they will be hunting next?
